The cream should be administered topically on the genital warts 3 times a week (on alternate days) prior to sleep. It may even take up to 16 weeks for the warts to vanish, but Aldara cream should be applied until then. Apply thin layer of cream and rub thoroughly on affected skin
Leave medication for the amount of time prescribed
Do not wet the medicated area after application
Do not use bandages or other dressings to cover medicated area
Do not apply in mouth, nostrils, eyes, anus & vagina
If medication gets into any of the above areas, rinse thoroughly with water
Use and discard. Do not use leftover cream from opened pouch
